Opportunities available to the public
Each year, William Lawrence Camp holds certification classes in June for our own staff AND the public. In June of 2024, we will once again be offering American Red Cross certified training in the areas of Lifeguard Instructor, (Lake) Waterfront Lifeguard, Water Safety Instructor, CPR and First Aid, as well as two different dates for the Camp Rifle Instructor Training Course, NAA Archery Instructor Level 1, and SOLO Wilderness First Aid.
The price for all of our courses includes sumptuous meals and overnight lodging as appropriate. Since many of the multi-day courses include an after-dinner session or group work, we do not offer “commuter pricing”.
Please email or snail mail the registration form to camp. Spots are not confirmed until a check is received. Once we receive your registration form, we will send an acknowledgment.
Individual registrations need to include a check. Registrations from a camp official may include a request for an invoice or indication that a check will arrive separately.
Please register prior to May 31, 2024. Courses that do not meet minimum enrollment are subject to cancellation.

ROOM AND BOARD: All Course Fees include room and board. Bring a sleeping bag and pillow and stay in one of our cabins. We will provide three meals a day. Participants will be responsible for their own clean-up.
Please note that we will expect guests to follow ‘generally accepted camp rules,’ such as no alcohol or tobacco. Our intent in providing these courses is as a service to our camping community.
